Leading commercial vehicle retailer,
Van Monster, has launched a brand new £2.5 million site in Cannock, to support local businesses in need of quality used vehicles at competitive prices. Located just off the M6, the new 5.75 acre flagship site will be
Van Monster’s West Midlands hub for the specialist sale of premium used commercial vehicles.
Van Monster, which is part of
Northgate PLC, has space for 120 vehicles to be displayed in the new Cannock site, as opposed to 70 at the old site in Birmingham, and will be joined by
Northgate Vehicle Hire in November, with Northgate occupying 480 sq/m of office space. As part of a £2.5m investment package the Van Monster site opened on 3
rdOctober.
Gary Sullivan, Managing Director at
Van Monster, commented:
“The move to Cannock is a fantastic opportunity and we’re thrilled to have a bigger space, which allows us to provide the local area with a wide variety of premium used vehicles. Due to the accessibility of the Cannock site we expect to see growing demand for the workshop facilities at the Northgate site too, which will open in November.”
Shelly Emery, Branch Manager at
Van Monster Cannock, continued:
“This will be a new market for
Van Monster and Northgate and, aside from an increased revenue opportunity, we are particularly looking forward to bringing further employment to the local community.”
The relocation of the site coincides with an ongoing campaign to work closely with tradespeople who make up the majority of
Van Monster customers, including plumbers, electricians and builders. The new site will showcase
Van Monster’s renowned selection of used vans and other vehicles.
